Broome Park Wedding Fair Review (A Kentish Wedding)
Another day, another wedding show!
Today we took a trip out to Barham to another Kentish Wedding event at Broome Park. A much smaller collection of suppliers but still an enjoyable day out none the less with the added bonus of getting to see Broome Park (which is stunning by the way!) in all its glory.
The thing we noticed immediately upon arriving inside the venue was how beautifully the first exhibition room was decorated, and that would be down to KC Wedding and Events. Your one stop shop for all of you decor needs from chair covers to centrepieces you are sure to find something wonderfully elegant and unusual to really set the tone for your wedding day.
Photography is such an important part of any wedding day and is something I knew I really wanted to find just the right person for. If you can’t look and feel your best in your wedding photos then when can you? With Encade I absolutely feel like I would be in the best of hands. One of my biggest fears in regards to the photography side of things is looking strained and forced. I much prefer natural looking shots and this is exactly what is on offer. Beautiful images to cherish for a lifetime.
I mentioned the fact we had decided on a photobooth of some sort in my last blog post. Today we were lucky enough to come across Peacheys Events (who I have actually used before and have nothing but the highest praise for!). Simon and Cecelia offer a photobooth as well as a DJ Service (which Simon is superb at!) and giant light up letters. You can also add a doughnut wall to your wedding wishlist because they’ve got one of those too!
The last stall we visited was run by Harper Smith Bridal who are based in Canterbury. Really stunning dresses (an elegant beaded number caught my eye immediately!).
After having a leisurely wander around we were taken on a tour of the various rooms available at Broome Park and were not disappointed by any of them.
The Kitchener which is the closest thing to a honeymoon suite is breathtakingly grand with its ornate pillars and four poster bed. I honestly could have moved in there right at that moment.
The grounds are honestly so beautiful and what a perfect backdrop to any wedding day.
The last couple of weekends have been exiting and overwhelming to say the least. We have a lot to consider and have met many amazing suppliers who we would be lucky to have at our wedding. I hope you will continue to follow our journey!
